The missions of this position consist, without being limited to:

  • Advise and support researchers in their signal processing and data mining issues (analysis and integration of large volumes of neuroscience data, supervised or unsupervised learning, size reduction, deep learning techniques, etc.)
  • Help with technology transfer between CENTURI project teams
  • Have a theoretical understanding of algorithms used for data analysis and conduct independent bibliographic studies to stay at the forefront of the latest developments and methods of imaging data analysis
  • Organize and animate data analysis courses for the CENTURI community: PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, researchers
  • Participate in the establishment of a data sharing infrastructure as part of the CENTURI project
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the software sharing and code transfer infrastructure as part of the CENTURI project

The processing of imagery data will be the heart of the project. The successful candidate will be part of the team of data analysts engineers, within the multi-engineering platform of CENTURI. The expertise of the successful candidate will help shape the data sharing and analysis platform and they will be able to both learn and share their skills with the CENTURI research community.
