2009 - 2015 | BSc and MSc, Electrical Engineering (communication systems), Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran
I’m an electrical engineer specializing in communications systems, with a deep interest in mathematics, signal/image processing, and software development (Java, C, C++, a bit of C#, Python and “hopefully” Matlab). Currently, I’m working on developing a microscopic image analysis software for the Fresnel institute, which is going to be published as a plugin for ImageJ (Yes, you can contact me for your ImageJ needs). Software development is an art, and realization of software through clean code is what makes it interesting.
Core skills
- Data design
We have a saying in the CENTURI engineering circle “If you have to save or use even one file for your experiments, then you need a proper data design”. Having a good data architecture is essential to a good analysis, so Don’t hesitate to contact me before you start storing data, because it’s too late after. Note that we are talking about the structural design of data, and not the physical infrastructure (like data servers, storage space, ...).
- Signal/ image processing
This includes many of the algorithms and analysis we use on images and other forms of data.
- Microscopic imaging
I’m not an expert in microscopic imaging methods and algorithms, but I’m learning a lot of things by the day. So, chances are I might be able to help, or put you in touch with the right people.
- Mathematical curiosity
I’m very interested in Mathematics (Calculus, differential equations and applications, analysis, etc). So, if you have a project that contains a great deal of math and also has software elements, don’t hesitate to contact me.
- And that other thing
By which I mean the fear of not knowing a lot about programming languages, object oriented programming, integers, strings, etc. If you need help, I’d be happy to talk and show you were to start, so that the fear goes away!
To discuss / collaborate:
- Send me an email or call me,we will get together to discuss matters (preferably over a cup of tea).
Disclaimer I: The “A.” abbreviation in the family name stands for “AGHAMOHAMADIAN”. The holder of said name rejects any claims that it’s too big even in the native Farsi (Persian) language.
