CENTURI Engineering | Introduction to biological data analysis courses

CENTURI provides training courses to PhD students and postdoctoral fellows.

In this context, the engineers participated in the training “Introduction to biological data” held March 27-29 in the LIS.

Stefania Sarno covered basic supervised learning algorithms for classification (SVM, Random Forest, K-nearest neighbors) and apply them to a simple dataset.

Thomas Vannier discussed the FAIR data principles (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) and he showed how to build a pipeline that allows full reproducibility of your analyses.
